Bittium is a Finnish engineering house where we design our own products as well as implement demanding R&D projects for our customers all over the globe. Our core competence is in secure wireless data transfer and designing complete products and low-level software. Now we are looking for a suitable person to lead the projects.
In your role, you lead SW and HW development teams in many different projects, from consulting cases to high-volume mass production product development projects. You are part of a team at an early stage when a project is planned, calculated, cost estimated and negotiated with the client. You will, of course, take care of the actual project management work. From the point of view of the job, a technical background is required and the task requires practical working methods. Communication and cooperation with internal stakeholders, external partners and especially customers are an important part of daily work.

To succeed in the task, you should have:

  • Previous experience as a team leader or project manager
  • Comprehensive understanding of mobile devices and / or telecommunications networks
  • Ability to manage different areas of projects (SW, HW, RF, Mechanics, PVV, Operations, etc.)
  • Understanding practical agile methods
  • Experience in product creation processes and project budget management
  • An innate ability to coach people
  • Fluent speaking and writing skills in English
  • Occasional travel readiness
